Landing pages that convert for indie SaaS
February 4, 2026 · 5 min read
Most indie SaaS landing pages fail for the same reason: they describe the product instead of the outcome.
"AI-powered task management with integrations" tells me what you built. "Stop forgetting what you promised your partner" tells me why I should care.
Here's the structure I use for every B2C app I ship:
Headline: the outcome in plain language. No jargon. No "revolutionize." Just the result your user wants.
Subheadline: who it's for and how it works in one line. "For busy parents who need a shared list that actually gets used."
Social proof early. Even three testimonials or a user count beats zero. If you're pre-launch, use beta feedback or a waitlist number.
One primary CTA. "Start free" or "Try it now" — not five buttons competing for attention. Repeat the CTA after every major section.
Show, don't tell. A screenshot, a 30-second demo, or a GIF of the core flow beats three paragraphs of features.
Remove friction at signup. Email + password is a relic. Magic links, OAuth, or no signup for a first experience — whatever gets people to the aha moment fastest.
Your personal brand site should funnel to these landing pages with a clear promise. This page is the closer — make every word earn the click.
